Gemstones Associated with the Chakras

The gemstones associated with the chakras are popular with Reiki and crystal healers, as well as others interested in the metaphysical properties of gemstones. Chakra stones are popular for power bracelets and other types of New Age jewelry. This is a list of stones that are associated with the seven major chakras, or energy centers, of the body. It's interesting to me that some of the stones don't correspond to the chakra colors or seem like they would correspond better to other chakras.
