This pattern is all about near-instant gratification. It reminds me of the luminaires you can fill with sand and a candle to light your trick-or-treating path. You can work this little vampire jack-o-lantern up in square stitch in a matter of minutes (could be woven, but probably not worth warping your loom over). Make a charm, amulet, or pendant, or make a pair for earrings.
