This book has something for everyone, with 'vintage' being a rather loosely used term. The instructions are very clear, with clean photographs and step-by-step illustrations. The projects require materials that may be inexpensively purchased or obtained from old broken pieces of jewelry. I would say these projects are targeted for the novice or beginner level, although more experienced beaders will appreciate the lavish styles of the pieces. You'll find an elegant pearl necklace, wire and bead flower, silver charm bracelet, a filigree bracelet, a silk bag, and much more. This is a nice project book because it teaches several useful beadwork and jewelrymaking skills, including how to make French beaded flowers, netting, and stringing. I liked the artistry of the projects - Ms. Schneebeli-Morrell pays attention to the details that can make handcrafted jewelry especially pleasing.
